Biography
Craig Cunningham was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1983 and a graduate degree from Southern New Hampshire University in 2003. His career experience includes working as an insurance executive. Cunningham has been affiliated with the Insurance Regulatory Examiners Society.[1]

I'm a long time NH Resident, a graduate of UNH with an MBA from SNHU. I'm concerned about the direction our state has taken. I've recently retired as Director of Regulatory Compliance for a large international company, and am hoping that I can work in the NH Legislature to help build NH's economy by supporting education, protecting the environment, and empowering the people.
- School Funding: New Hampshire's property tax structure provides benefits to communities that house businesses and penalizes communities that house students. Equitable School Funding is possible without adding new taxes. I will work hard to develop equitable funding, and to support teachers, students, school staff, and school boards.
- Reproductive Freedom: I support access to reproductive healthcare. Simply put, her body, her choice. Reproductive healthcare includes a wide range of services including contraception, preventative care, and gender affirming interventions. These decisions should be private decisions between patients and healthcare professionals.
- LGBTQIA+ AND HUMAN RIGHTS: I support marriage equality, and the rights of people to be themselves. I will support all people regardless of race, religious beliefs, disability, immigration status, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression
Education & Human Rights
Communicate & collaborate. It is important to get feedback from constituents and to provide information to them.
JFK Assassination. I was four years old.
A tug of war between reducing taxes and regulations versus protecting our environment, and funding our schools properly. I do not support a broad-based sales or income tax. I support properly funding our schools and protecting the pristine environment that fuels New Hampshire's tourist industry.
Redistricting should be done by a citizen led taskforce that works independent of the parties and the legislature. The objective of redistricting should be to have competitive districts.
Commerce Committee
Yes, it is important to listen to all perspectives and to gain understanding of those that are different from my own. At times it is both necessary and desirable to compromise to deliver effective policy and to gain consensus so that a bill can be passed.
