Craig Fishbein
Craig Fishbein (Republican Party) is a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 90. He assumed office on November 18, 2016. His current term ends on January 6, 2027.
Fishbein (Republican Party, Independent Party) ran for re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives to represent District 90. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Craig Fishbein attended Wallingford schools and graduated from Mark T. Sheehan High School in 1983. He attended Quinnipiac University full-time and graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing. He then enrolled in the Quinnipiac University School of Law. During law school, Fishbein worked as a clerk at the New Britain Superior Court. After he graduated in 2001, Fishbein joined his father at Fishbein Law Firm, LLC in Wallingford. In 2010 he began to serve on the Wallingford Town Council and in 2012 was appointed to serve on the State of Connecticut’s Board of Firearms Permit Examiners (BFPE) where he served as Vice-Chairman and Secretary. Representative Fishbein resigned his position on the BFPE before joining the Connecticut House of Representatives.[1]
Representative Fishbein was elected to represent the 90th District in the Connecticut House in 2016. In the 2019 session, he served on the Labor & Public Employees Committee, the Judiciary Committee, and the Public Safety Committee.[1]
