Public policies aimed at promoting economic growth, job creation, and reducing income inequality.

Public policies that focus on ensuring access to quality education and improving educational outcomes.

Public policies focused on mitigating climate change and promoting sustainable development.

Public policies that focus on preventing crime, ensuring effective law enforcement, and promoting a fair and just criminal justice system.
When adjudicating a case of someone accused of a minor traffic infraction or representing someone accused of a serious crime, I have always been compassionate and understanding of where people come from, eager to help.
Video store clerk where I had to manually rewind the VHS tapes.
The U.S. House of Representative is unique because it is designed to ensure that every citizen has a voice in Congress. The People's house, as an institution, must return to serving the people, not politicians.
It is important to have a working knowledge of government, but the U.S. House of Representative was designed for ordinary people to represent their community and serve their Country.
The increasing impact of climate change, such as extreme weather events and rising sea levels, will require implementing sustainable policies and transitioning to cleaner energy sources. Additionally, with the US becoming increasingly politically divided, it important to find common ground and promote unity to address various societal issues.
I won't challenge the founding fathers on this one.
While I recognize that Congress is dysfunctional in part because of career politicians, I don't support term limits for members of congress because institutional knowledge is important.
I emulate myself after Congressman Steve Israel, who I worked with after graduated from college. When people called him Congressman Israel, he would always respond, "please, call me Steve". I think it is very important for members of congress to be down-to-earth and self-effacing.
In a diverse society as the US, compromise is essential to allow for policymakers to find common ground and reach agreements to prevent gridlock and promote progress towards solutions that can address the challenges facing the country.
