Craig Kellison
Craig M. Kellison was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. He was appointed a part-time magistrate judge on November 1, 1988, and was then appointed to a full-time position on September 2, 2004.[1][2] Kellison retired on September 1, 2018.[3]
Education
Judge Kellison received his B.S. degree from the University of Nevada in 1972 and his J.D. degree from the Gonzaga University School of Law in 1976.[1]
Career
Judge Kellison began his career in 1976 as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Bruce Thompson in Nevada. He became a private practice lawyer in 1978. While working as a part-time magistrate judge from 1988 to 2004, he was a partner of the firm Kellison and Cady, P.C. and the sole proprietor of its successor firm, the Law Offices of Craig Kellison. In 1995, he also served as a hearing officer for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. From 2000 to 2004, he served as a temporary Administrative Law Judge for the State of California.[1][2]
