Craig Miner
Craig Miner (Republican Party) was a member of the Connecticut State Senate, representing District 30. He assumed office in 2017. He left office on January 4, 2023.
Miner (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Connecticut State Senate to represent District 30. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Miner served as a state representative for Connecticut House of Representatives District 66 from 2001-2007 and as a state senator for Connecticut State Senate District 30 from 2017-2023.
Biography
Miner's professional experience includes working as the owner/operator of the Litchfield Hills Filling Station from 1989-1998 and in sales and management with automotive dealerships.
He was a member of the House Republican Screening Committee and was the first selectman for the Town of Litchfield from 1991-2001.[1]

Elections for the Connecticut House of Representatives consisted of a primary election on August 12, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. Marjorie O'Neill was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Craig A. On November 4, 2008, Miner won re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives from Connecticut's 66th District, defeating Nick Creed (D and WF) and Richard Schuley (Concerned Citizens). Miner received 7,903 votes in the election while Creed received 5,109 votes, and Schuley received 164 votes.[9]
