Craig Pitts
Craig Pitts (Republican Party) ran for election to the Utah State Board of Education to represent District 2. Pitts did not appear on the ballot for the Republican convention on April 23, 2022.
Pitts was a candidate for the District 1 seat on the Tooele County School District school board in Utah. Pitts withdrew from the race before the general election that was held on November 8, 2016.

Four of the seven seats on the Tooele County School District school board were up for general election on November 8, 2016. Incumbent Kathy Taylor ran unopposed and won re-election to the District 1 seat after Craig Pitts withdrew from the race before the election. District 2 incumbent Julia Holt defeated Katie Redmond for her seat. Incumbent Scott Bryan defeated Chad Ellis in the general election for the District 3 seat after defeating Diane Cramer in the primary election. In District 4, incumbent Maresa Manzione defeated Matthew Rowley to win re-election to her seat.[1]
