Credell Calhoun
Credell Calhoun (b. May 20, 1943) is a former Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 68 from 2004 to 2020.
Calhoun served in the House previously, representing District 68 from 1980 to 1992.
Biography
Calhoun earned his B.A. and M.A. from Prairie View Agriculture & Medicine University. His professional experience includes working as a businessman.[1]

Elections for the Mississippi House of Representatives took place in 2015. A primary election was held on August 4, 2015. The general election took place on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 27, 2015.[2] Incumbent Credell Calhoun defeated Kenneth Shearrill in the Democratic primary. No Republican candidates filed for election. Calhoun ran unchallenged in the District 68 general election.

On November 8, 2011, Calhoun won re-election to District 68 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. He ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and was unchallenged in the November 8 general election.[3]
