|- The most important issue that I am running on is clear in my slogan, “People Over Politics.” I, just like many in this country, am sick and tired of the partisan bickering because, at the end of the day, the only ones who win are the politicians, because while they play theater, no work gets done, problems don’t get solved, and we continue to suffer. I want to be the independent voice for the district. The margins in the state house are bound to be close, and when I get there, I will force both sides to come to the table and work on pieces of legislation; otherwise, I will refuse to vote on them, meaning that we, the people, will have the power.
- I want to be connected to the community, and that’s why I will dedicate myself each year to going to each county and holding town halls to hear from the people on issues. Too often, we elect politicians, and they end up hiding away, doing nothing, and getting re-elected over and over. I will be transparent, I am blunt, I will be honest with you whether you want to hear the truth or not, and I will be there for my constituents when they need me.
- I refuse to take any corporate interest and lobbyist dirty money over my own self-consciousness and my people’s voices.
