|- Experience - I am the only candidate that is an elected official. I am proud that I fulfilled every one of the campaign issues from my 2018 City Council race including policies to increase public safety and move infrastructure expenses to future growth rather than current residents by supporting long term bonding. Last year I successfully pushed to lower our millage rate.
- Education - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration both from Stetson University
- Energy - I have worked tirelessly to serve the residents of Mount Dora while running my bookstore, attending all community events, volunteering and now running for State House. The busier I am, the better I am.
Public schools need our attention. Teacher pay and benefits, classroom size, living wages for support staff and teacher involvement in the decision making processes.
District 31 is home to some of the most beautiful parks and waterways in Florida but we are not taking care of them as well as we should. District 31 needs to focus on connecting to the Coast to Coast bike trail, we are the missing link. We can focus on renewable energy throughout the District as well as keeping a close eye on air and water quality.
We need to create sustainable jobs. We can attract essential businesses to the District and create jobs through government projects.
