I am a millennial Mexican American who was born and raised in Hendersonville, NC. As the daughter of immigrants and a first-generation college graduate I understand the struggle to achieve the American Dream. That's why I am fighting for a $15 an hour minimum wage, stronger environmental protections, investing in our public schools, expanding Medicaid, and immigration reform. I was recently endorsed by the NC AFL-CIO and will fight for a better future for the working-class residents of my district.
  • I understand the struggles average North Carolinian face because I am an average North Carolinian.
  • We have more in common than we do differences.
  • The people of District 48 deserve a Senator that will fight for their best interest.
Wages and labor protections. Investment in a green economy. Ending the 287(g) partnership between local law enforcement and ICE.
