Crystal Johnson

Crystal Johnson is a magistrate judge for the Second Judicial Circuit in South Dakota. She was appointed by the South Dakota Supreme Court in March 2015, to fill the vacancy created by the election of Joni Cutler to the office of circuit judge. Johnson assumed office on April 13, 2015.[1]
Education
Johnson received her undergraduate degree from the University of Sioux Falls in 1999 and her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2002.[1]
Career
From 2005 until her appointment to the Second Judicial Circuit in 2015, Johnson served as a deputy state’s attorney for Minnehaha County.[1]
