Cullen Sweeney ran for judge on the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas in Cleveland, Ohio in 2012.
2012 election
Sweeney was unopposed in the Democratic primary. He was defeated by Robert C. McClelland in the general election on November 6, receiving 49.84 percent of the vote.[1][2]

Career
Sweeney is currently an Assistant Public Defender for Cuyahoga County. He has previously served as a staff attorney for federal Judge Lesley Wells.[4]
