I am a Christian Conservative. Raised on a cotton farm, I learned a strong work ethic from an early age. I earned a BA from Arkansas State University and then a law degree from UALR School of Law. I served as a state prosecutor for a number of years before opening a law firm in Paragould. Married for 23 years, my wife and I have two children. Of the Christian faith, we are actively involved in the Baptist church. I have volunteered as a coach for youth sports, and I currently serve on the Greene County Tech School Board and the Arkansas State Board of Law Examiners. Twice I have been appointed as a Special Justice to the Arkansas Supreme Court.
  • I will protect and promote the sanctity of life at all stages.
  • I will protect the integrity of our system of education.
  • I will stand for the Constitution even as we reform the criminal Justice system.
I am passionate about the pro life platform, protecting our children by promoting academic excellence while preventing indoctrination, and protecting our citizens from the overreach of the government. I am determined to limit the government so that individual liberties may flourish and to lower taxes so that citizens may spend or save their own money as they see fit. I am determined to protect religious freedom. I am passionate about preserving our justice system while reforming it to function more efficiently.
I began chopping cotton at the age of 12. I worked on the farm every summer from that age until I graduated college.
