Curtis Railey
Curtis Railey was a 2013 independent candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 1st Congressional District of Alabama.[1]
Railey failed to file prior to the general election on December 17, 2013.
The seat was open following the resignation of Rep. Jo Bonner. Bonner's resignation, effective August 15, came as the result of a decision to take a position as vice chancellor of government and economic development at the University of Alabama.[2]
