Curtis Sigur is a judge for the 16th Judicial District in Louisiana. Sigur defeated Lucretia Pecantte in the 2014 election. His term will expire on December 31, 2024.[1][2][3]

Sigur ran for election to the 16th Judicial District.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 41.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Lucretia Pecantte and Tai Porter-Green.
General: He defeated Lucretia Pecantte in the general election on December 6, 2014, receiving 55 percent of the vote. [1][4]

Education

Sigur received his undergraduate degree in pre-law and economics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and his J.D. from Southern University Law Center.[5]
