The city of Chicago, Illinois, held elections for city council on February 24, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was November 24, 2014.[1] In the general election for Ward 9, incumbent Anthony Beale defeated Michael E. Lafargue, Harold "Noonie" Ward and Theodore "Ted" Williams.[2] Curtiss Llong Bey, Marcia Brown and Agin Muhammad II were removed from the ballot in December 2014.[3]
