A Custer Township Road Levy Increase proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Antrim County, which is in Michigan.
This proposal authorized the Township of Custer to renewal the property taxes by 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for four years in order to fund the improvement, repair and maintenance of roads in the Township. The estimated first year revenue from this tax $83,336.[1]

Language on the ballot:
| “ | Shall the 15 mill tax limitation on general ad valorem taxes within Custer Township imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution be increased for said Township by 1 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) for a period of four years, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 inclusive, for the improvement, repair, and maintenance of established roads located within the Township; and shall the Township levy such increase in millage for such purpose during such period will increase will raise in the first year of such levy an estimated $83,336.
