Cynthia Almond (Republican Party) is the Alabama Public Service Commission President. She assumed office on June 16, 2025. Her current term ends on November 4, 2026.

Almond (Republican Party) won election to the Alabama House of Representatives to represent District 63 outright in the general election on February 1, 2022, after the Republican primary and general election were canceled.

Almond also ran for re-election to the Alabama House of Representatives to represent District 63. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Almond resigned from the Alabama House of Representatives District 63 on June 15, 2025 after being appointed by Governor of Alabama Kay Ivey (R) to serve as President of the Alabama Public Service Commission.[1]
