Cynthia Davis (Wisconsin)
Cynthia Davis is a judge for Branch 21 of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. She assumed office in 2016. Her current term ends on August 1, 2029.

Biography
Education
Davis graduated from DePauw University in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in economics and French. She received a J.D. from Marquette University Law School.[1]
Career
Prior to her judicial appointment, Davis was an assistant district attorney in Milwaukee County and taught at Marquette Law School. Earlier in her career, Davis was an intern for Mary Kuhnmuench of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court and a clerk for David T. Prosser on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. After working in business law from 2007 to 2011 before going to work for the District Attorney's Office.[1]

Nonpartisan primary election
The primary election was canceled. Incumbent Cynthia Davis advanced from the primary for Milwaukee County Circuit Court Branch 21.
2017
Wisconsin held local judicial elections in 2017. Forty-eight circuit court seats were up for election on April 4, 2017. Three seats required primaries on February 21, 2017, with the top two vote recipients for each seat advancing to the April 4 general election. Thirty-seven seats up for election in 2017 were unopposed.[2] Incumbent Cynthia Davis ran unopposed in the general election for the Branch 21 seat on the Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
