Cynthia M. Raccuglia is a judge of the Thirteenth Circuit of Illinois.[1] First elected in 1995, she was retained in 2000, 2006 and 2012.[2] Her current term expires in 2018.[3]
Education
Raccuglia earned a B.A. from St. Mary's College, going on to receive her J.D. from Northern Illinois University in 1981.[4][2]
Career
From 1991 until her election to the circuit court 1995, Raccuglia served an appointed term as Associate Judge of the Thirteenth Circuit. Prior to this appointment, she was an associate in her father's law firm, Anthony C. Raccuglia & Associates in Ottawa, Illinois, where she specialized in tort litigation.[2]
2012 election
Raccuglia was retained on Nov. 6, 2012 with 74.2 percent of the vote.[3][5]
