Cynthia Platzer is a former district court judge for the 72nd District Court in Michigan.[1] Platzer was elected to the court in the November 2002 general election and took office in January 2003.[2] Platzer retired in December 2019.[3]

Platzer obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1975 and her J.D. degree from the Detroit College of Law (now the Law School at Michigan State University) in 1981.[2]
