D. Craig Brown
D. Craig Brown is an at-large judge of the South Carolina Circuit Courts. He was elected by the South Carolina State Legislature in 2010. He was re-elected on February 4, 2015, and February 3, 2021, to a term expiring in 2027.[1][2]
Education
Brown received his undergraduate degree from The Citadel in 1992 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1997.[3]
Career
Between earning his degrees, Brown worked with the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services. After clerking for M. Duane Shuler, Brown joined the firm Bridges, Orr, Derrick & Ervin. In 2001, he went into private practice, which he's continued with until his election to the circuit court.[3]
