D. Ethan Kimbrel
D. Ethan Kimbrel is an acting member of the Illinois Commerce Commission. He was appointed to the position on January 19, 2018, by Gov. Bruce Rauner (R).[1]
Biography
Kimbrel served as the Illinois Commerce Commission's chief administrative law judge from April 2015 to January 2018 and served as a commission administrative law judge from 2007 to April 2015.[2] He also previously served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Leslie Elaine South in the Illinois First District Appellate Court. He has practiced law in the areas of personal injury, appellate, malpractice, and commercial litigation.[1]
