D. Justine Scanlon was a judge of the Bennington County Probate Court in Vermont. She was elected to the court on November 2, 2010.[1][2][3][4] Scanlon was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on January 31, 2019.[5]

Scanlon ran for election to the probate court in 2010. Scanlon, a Democrat, defeated Independent candidate Marie Wood with 65.01 percent of the vote in the general election on November 2, 2010.[1]
Education
Scanlon received her undergraduate degree from Johnson State College and her J.D. degree from the Albany Law School.[6]
Career
Before her election to the court, Scanlon worked as an attorney in private practice for twenty years in Bennington, Vermont.[7]
