D. Scott Bowling is a judge on the Lawrence County Court of Common Pleas General Division in Ironton, Ohio. He was appointed to the court by former Governor Ted Strickland and assumed office on September 24, 2007.[1] He was re-elected to the Lawrence County Court of Common Pleas General Division in 2014, winning a new term that expires on December 31, 2020.[2][3]

Education
Bowling received his undergraduate degree in business administration from Ohio University in 1988 and his J.D. from Capital University Law School in 1997.[1]
Career
Before his appointment to the court, Bowling practiced law with the firm of Lambert, McWhorter and Bowling, LLC, in Ironton, Ohio, with a focus on personal injury, medical negligence and Social Security disability law.[1]
