Happy 4th! Come join our book club!   You're invited: The Ballotpedia Book Club Happy Independence Day! It’s finally summer, and here at Ballotpedia, all we want to do is relax in the sun with a good book. It’s the perfect time to catch up on all those books we’ve been meaning to read. Still putting together your summer reading list? Then it’s also the perfect time to join the Ballotpedia Book Club! We’re formalizing an internal tradition among Ballotpedia staff of reading great books and getting together over a virtual cup of coffee to discuss and exchange ideas about what we read. Every two months, we'll tell you which book we're reading right now and invite you to read along with us. At the end, join us for a 30-minute webcall led by our editor-in-chief and news editor to discuss the book. You'll also be able to hear commentary from Ballotpedia staff experienced in the subject matter. Occasionally, you'll get to speak with the authors & other special guests.  Our first book is The Great Revolt by Salena Zito and Brad Todd and our first webcall will be held in August.
