  • Unemployement - Every Floridian deserves financial peace of mind. Daisy will work across the aisle and fight for fair wages and taxes, and continue to support small businesses, entrepreneurs, and unions.
  • Affordable Housing - No one should be living on the street because they can't afford to live in reasonable accomodations. Daisy will work to increase access to affordable housing, hold developers accountable to build more affordable housing units, and work with agencies to help the homeless find a place to call home.
  • Healthcare - Daisy will fight to expand Medicaid, identify funding sources for mental health, and will ensure every Floridian, has access to the health care they need, regardless of pre-existing conditions
I will fight for equality and affordable healthcare for ALL Floridians. I recently lost my sister, who was a senior with special needs, due to negligence at a nursing home. I'm heading to Tallahassee to fight in her honor, and for the disabled and vulnerable, and senior community.

I look up to my Mom because she dedicated her life to taking care of my sister. She showed me with her persistence how important it is to care for someone with special needs. I remember the struggles she went through. She inspired me to move forward and make a difference in people's lives.
Madeleine Albright 's 2008 book "Memo to the President Elect: How We Can Restore America's Reputation and Leadership".
Someone in the public office should always put forth the interest of the community before his or her own.
When I realized my sister had special needs. She couldn't walk or talk, and it made me realize that we need to understand their needs and how valuable healthcare really is.
My first job was working in the pharmaceutical industry for a year before working with the Roosevelt Roads Naval Base in Puerto Rico.
I believe it's beneficial for state legislators to have previous experience in government or politics because a person can learn the process of actually making changes done at a local and state level and start fostering relationships with key leaders.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Florida

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
