Delka was a Republican candidate for district 4 of the Nebraska Public Service Commission.[1]
Biography
Delka is a farmer from Red Cloud, Nebraska.[2] He earned an agribusiness degree from Central Community College.[3]

Delta ran for a seat on the Nebraska Public Service Commission in the commission's fourth district. Two other Republicans filed to run in the primary: Tammy Cheatum and incumbent Rod Johnson.[1]

2016
In an interview with the Norfolk Daily News, Delka highlighted the following issues:
“ | After reviewing the responsibilities of the commission, I realized how much my community is impacted by transportation, utilities, grain elevators and communications... I feel the office offers me the opportunity for growth and allows me to use the skills that life and the Nebraska education system have given me to assume a larger role to help make Nebraska better in the future.[3][4] | ” |
In the same interview, he said that he would advocate for expanded cellphone coverage and fairness in utility regulation.[3]
