I am a Democratic candidate for the Montana House of Representatives in District 96. My main motive getting into politics was to be a fighter for the people. The majority of politicians aren't concerned with the common, everyday person--but rather they're concerned with their status and ultimately how to make their corrupt backers happy. When elected, I will not be that kind of Representative--you can count on that.

[I understand the everyday concerns that my constituents might be going through.] Whether these concerns are concerns with how to pay the rent, how to get their children taken care of throughout the day while they're at work due to daycare being so expensive, or how they're gonna get to work due to their car breaking down last night and not being able to afford someone to repair it.

These kinds of issues I can empathize with and that's why I will be a true advocate for you to Helena. I won't let corrupt lobbyists, super PACS, Republicans, or even fellow Democrats tell me what to do--I will work for you, nobody else. I hope I can count on your support in June!

  • I will fight for a more fair economic system; one that will represent the common individual in Montana.
  • I will not back down when it comes to preserving our public lands!
  • My main priority as your Representative will be to bring diverse, refreshing advocacy to our legislature. People are sick and tired of the same old talk with no real action--we must change that.
-Preserving Montana's public lands.

-$15/hr minimum wage.

-Free and universal childcare.

-Legalizing cannabis.

-Protecting unions.
I personally look up to former President Barack Obama. He epitomizes integrity, compassion, and class. He also is never afraid to advocate for what he truly believes in--and I admire that about him as he doesn't let others make decisions for him.
An elected official must have a strong sense of self, not in a narcisstic way but in a confident way. If an elected official is truly 100% going to represent their values and their constituents' values, they must not be afraid to take on a fight until the end, when necessary.
I am the kind of individual who has the tendency to fight for what I believe is right whether it is popular or not. I have deep-rooted, personal values that I am not ashamed to fight for. For example, I am a gay man, and I am very passionate about fighting for LGBTQ rights in our state.
One of the first historical events I remember that is truly worth mentioning is when I came out to my family as gay. I remember feeling so relieved once I told them due to no longer having to hide who I truly am. This was at age 16.
My first job was at Hot Stuff Pizza and I held it for approximately a year!
"Good Life" by One Republic. This song epitomizes my perspective on life--even though things may be difficult sometimes, you should be most importantly be thankful for the good. I try to always live a life of joy.
No, I don't. I believe that if we want true change in this country, we shouldn't be afraid to elect someone young and/or someone who hasn't had prior political experience. We need fresh perspectives in elected offices, and I think those two examples would bring that.
-Maintaining a surplus in Montana's budget.

-Lowering our suicide rates (which we must do).

-Preserving our beloved public lands.
