Dale Kobayashi
Dale Kobayashi (Democratic Party) was a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, representing District 23. He assumed office on November 6, 2018. He left office on November 8, 2022.
Kobayashi ran for election to the Honolulu City Council to represent District 5 in Hawaii. He did not appear on the ballot for the primary on August 10, 2024.
Biography
Dale Kobayashi was born in Manoa, HI and earned a master's degree in public and private management from Yale University in 1991 and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Southern California in 1983. His professional experience includes serving as the president and chief investment officer at Bishop Street Capital Management, and former chief investment officer at First Hawaiian Bank. He was chair of the Manoa Neighborhood Board and co-founder of Save Manoa Valley. Kobayashi was elected to the Hawaii State House of Representatives in 2019.[1]
