Dale Ogden
Dale Ogden (b. September 17, 1951 Baltimore, MD) was the Libertarian candidate in the California gubernatorial election of 2010.
Ogden was a candidate for California State Senate District 25 in 2004, Insurance Commissioner of California in 1998 and 2002, and California State Assembly District 54 in 2000. He served as Treasurer of the Libertarian Party California R66 from 2001-2004, and Vice-Chair from 2000-2001.
Odgen earned his B.A. from Towson State University. He is the owner of Dale F. Ogden & Associates. Odgen previously worked as a Senior Manager/Consultant/Actuary for KPMG, Peat Marwick from 1991-1994 and was Executive Vice President/Actuary of Kramer Capital Consultants from 1983-1987.[1]
Elections
2010
Odgen did not have any opposition in June 8 primary.
He faced Meg Whitman (R), Jerry Brown (D), Laura Wells (G), Chelene Nightingale, (American Independence) and Carlos Alvarez (Peace and Freedom) in the general election on November 2, 2010. Ogden lost to Brown.[2]
