Dale Ross
Dale Ross is a former civil division judge of the 17th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed by former Governor Bob Martinez on October 15, 1987. He replaced retired Judge Louis Weissing. Ross was re-elected in 2006 and 2012. He served until his retirement from the court in July 2016.[1] He was the chief judge of the 17th Circuit from 1991 to 2007.[2][3][4][5][6]
Biography
Ross graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 1973.[3] He began his career as a private practice lawyer. He then served as a Broward County Court judge from 1981 until his elevation to the circuit court in 1987.[3]
2012 election
Ross ran for re-election on Aug. 14, 2012. He defeated Michael Rocque with 70.8 percent of the vote.[7][8]
