|-Married, father of three children
-I have read the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution for the united States, as well as supporting documents of the founders of this nation. I have a basic understanding of these documents and agree with the founders that government is strictly limited to enumerated powers only. I would work to pass legislation that would reduce government power in order to empower individuals.- I hold the position that modern government is a disease masquerading as its own cure. I believe in less government, and more individual responsibility.
- I am a proponent of individual rights including the abolition of abortion, carrying of firearms without a license, individual medical freedom, and reduced/eliminated taxes.
- More important than the principles of limited government is an understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ. That he was God in the flesh, that he came to this earth, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins for those that would call on him and trust in him alone. He did that so that we could have eternal life, and avoid an eternal punishment in hell. If enough people understood that message, than limited government would be just one positive result.
