Dalton Wood is a judge on the Orphans Court of St. Mary’s County in St. Mary's County, Maryland.[1] He has served as a judge on the court since December 2, 2002.[2][3] Wood ran for re-election to the Orphans Court of St. Mary’s County in 2014, winning a term that expired on December 31, 2018.[4][5]

Wood ran for re-election to the Orphans Court of St. Mary’s County.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 37.5 percent of the vote. He competed against Michael R. White (Maryland) and Albert Babcock. All 3 candidates ran unopposed in the primary. 
General: He faced Michael R. White (Maryland), Albert Babcock, and incumbent judges, Linda Dean and William Miles Mattingly in the general election on November 4, 2014, and won with 25.9 percent of the vote. Candidates competed for three open seats. [4][6] 

2010

Wood was re-elected to the Orphans Court of St. Mary’s County (along with Linda Dean and Charles "Jenks" Mattingly) in the general election on November 2, 2010. He received 38.55 percent of the vote.[3]
