Damascus City Spending Growth Limit Amendment Measures (November 2012)
A Damascus City Spending Growth Limit Amendment measure was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Clackamas County, which is in Oregon, where it was approved.
This measure amended the Damascus City Charter to limit the City's spending growth rate to no more than 2.5% increase per year. The starting limit spending number would be 90% of the City's 2010-2011 fiscal year expenditures. The limit, by this amendment, could not increase by more than 2.5% per year after this.[1]
