Dan Arriola is a city council member for the City of Tracy, California. He was elected in November 2018.[1]

Arriola is a former at-large member on the Tracy Joint Unified School District school board in California. Arriola served on the school board from 2016 to 2018. He resigned from the school board when he was sworn in as a city council member on December 20, 2018.[1]

Three of the seven seats on the Tracy Joint Unified School District board of trustees were up for at-large general election on November 8, 2016. Incumbents Walter Gouveia, Jill Costa, and James Vaughn Jr. faced challengers Dan Arriola and Sondra Gilbert.[2] Costa won re-election, and Gilbert and Arriola won the other seats on the ballot.[3]
