Three of the seven seats on the Tracy Joint Unified School District board of trustees were up for at-large general election on November 8, 2016. Incumbents Walter Gouveia, Jill Costa, and James Vaughn Jr. faced challengers Dan Arriola and Sondra Gilbert.[2] Costa won re-election, and Gilbert and Arriola won the other seats on the ballot.[3]
