Dan Bucks
Dan Bucks was the Montana Director of the Department of Revenue from January 3, 2005 to January 7, 2013.[1]
Biography
Prior to becoming Director of the Department of Revenue, Bucks spent nearly 17 years in Washington D.C. as executive director of the Multistate Tax Commission. From 1981 to 1988 he served as deputy director of the Montana Department of Revenue. Before that he was director of science and natural resources for the National Conference of State Legislatures, South Dakota state planning commissioner from 1973 to 1977, director of reorganization in South Dakota from 1971 to 1973, and chief tax policy adviser to the Governor of South Dakota.[2]
