Dan Clifford is a judge for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected on November 3, 2015.[1] He also ran for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas in 2011.

2011

Clifford won the Republican Party primary on May 17. He received 11.2 percent in the Democratic primary and 41.1 percent of the vote in the Republican primary.[3] He was defeated in the general election on November 8, receiving, 23.9 percent of the vote in a four-way race.[4]

Education

Clifford earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1981 and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1984.[7]

Career

Since his admission to the bar Clifford has been actively involved in private practice at the firm Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP where he is now a managing partner. He has also served as a chair of the Springfield Township Zoning Hearing Board since 1997.[7]
