Dan Drew
Dan Drew was a candidate seeking the Democratic nomination for governor of Connecticut in the 2018 election. He withdrew in January 2018.[1]
Biography
After graduating from the University of Connecticut in 2002, where he had been the editor-in-chief of the campus newspaper, Drew joined the Potomac News and Manassas Journal Messenger as a reporter. In 2004, Drew moved back to Connecticut to accept a position at the Connecticut Post. Drew would spend two years writing for the Post before joining the Community Renewal Team in 2006. In 2008, Drew accepted a position as a grant writer at Sacred Heart University. Drew would hold this position until taking office as mayor of Middletown, Connecticut, in November 2011. At the time of his entrance into the 2018 election, Drew remained the mayor of Middletown.[2]
