Dan Friedman is an at-large judge on the Appellate Court of Maryland, the intermediate appellate court for the state of Maryland. He was appointed to the court by Democratic Governor Martin O'Malley on August 26, 2014, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Albert Matricciani.[1][2]
The Maryland Court of Special Appeals became the Appellate Court of Maryland, following a 2022 constitutional amendment that changed the court's name.[3]
Education
Friedman received his B.A. in government and politics from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1988 and his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1994.[4][5]
