As of 2019, Dan Grubb was the owner of the Dan Grubb Ford car dealership in Goodyear, Arizona. He was the son of the late Lou Grubb, a former Phoenix-area auto dealer who established Grubb Automotive car dealerships throughout the southwest United States.[1][2][3]

Dan Grubb began working for the family automotive business in 1972. In 2006, Grubb purchased two Phoenix-area Ford dealerships from UnitedAuto Group Inc. and renamed them Dan Grubb Ford and New Pioneer Ford. Grubb consolidated the two dealerships in 2008 following the Ford Motor Company's efforts to reduce the number of dealerships nationwide. After his father's death in 2012, Grubb assumed leadership of AzCal II LLC, the Grubb family's network of automotive business in Arizona and California. [1][2][5]
