Dan Kathren is a judge for the Benton County District Court in Washington. He has served on the court since January 2011.[1] He was re-elected by voters in 2014, winning a four-year term that expired on January 6, 2019.[2] [3]

Kathren ran for election to the Benton County District Court in 2010. He was opposed by, and defeated Alex Ekstrom. He filled Position 3, the seat vacated by Holly Hollenbeck.[4]

Education

Kathren received a B.A. from Washington State University and a J.D. from Gonzaga University.[5]

Career

Prior to becoming a judge in 2011, Kathren served as a judge pro tem for over 10 years. He was also a hearings examiner for the City of Pasco, and worked in private practice.[6]
