Dan L. Flannell
Dan L. Flannell is a former judge of the Sixth Circuit of Illinois. He first joined the court in 1988. He was elected by his fellow circuit judges as chief judge, effective August 1, 2012.[1][2] Flannell retired on January 13, 2017.[3]
Education
Flannell received his undergraduate degree (Finance) from the University of Illinois in 1974 and his J.D. degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1977.[1]
Career
Flannell practiced with the firm of Wood & Flannell in Sullivan, Illinois, prior to joining the circuit court in 1988.[1]

Flannell was retained on November 6, 2012, with 80.7 percent of the vote.[4][5]
