|Dan was born in India and spent his childhood and school years in India and Zambia, Africa before he migrated to the United States in the late 1980’s. Dan has been married to his wife, Daisy, for twenty-seven years. The couple has two children, Christopher and Melody.
Dan Mathews started Stafford Christian Center in 2016, which supports the local community. Through diverse organizations, he has been assisting people in need with food drives, school and toy drives, disaster assistance, building houses, supporting the elderly and other charitable events. In his own words Dan said "I care for the people. I have a passion to serve. My public life and my involvement with the communities has helped me to understand the problems of people and shaped me to become an effective civil servant. I am obedient to my calling, and I believe I am called to serve for such a time as this. When I am elected, I will uphold the Constitution and serve every citizen with dignity and honor.- Secure the border. Work with immigration to implement foreign worker program so people can come to Texas Legally.

- Improve Texas School System and Improve Literacy
