Dan Saltzman is a member of the Portland Community College Board of Directors in Oregon, representing Zone 5. Saltzman assumed office in 2005. Saltzman's current term ends in 2029.
Saltzman ran for re-election to the Portland Community College Board of Directors to represent Zone 5 in Oregon. Saltzman won in the general election on May 20, 2025.
Saltzman was a Commissioner on the Portland City Council in Oregon, holding Position 3. He was first elected to the council in 1998. Saltzman did not seek re-election in 2018.
As a Commissioner, Saltzman oversaw the Portland Housing Bureau and the Office of Fire and Rescue.[1]
