Dan Seum
Dan Seum is a former Republican member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 38 from 1995 to 2019.
Seum previously served a term as Senator from 1989 to 1992. Seum served on the Board of Alderman for the City of Louisville and in the Kentucky House of Representatives from 1982 to 1988.
Biography
Seum graduated from Officer's Candidate School and served in the National Guard. His professional experience included working as a restaurant owner.

Elections for the Kentucky State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Incumbent Dan Malano Seum defeated Brenda Sue "Susie" Board in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[3][4][5]

On November 7, 2006, Seum was re-elected to the 38th District Seat in the Kentucky State Senate, defeating Robert G.M. Valenza (D).[8] Seum raised $74,530 for his campaign, while Valenza raised $3,433.[9]
