Dan Seum Jr. was born in Columbus, Ohio. He earned an associate degree from Lindsey Wilson College in 1995. His career experience includes working as a business owner. Seum has been affiliated with Kentuckians for Medicinal Marijuana.[1]

|- My first goal when elected is to prop up our law enforcement officers and first responders. I will be a strong advocate for better funding and better training for our police.
- I plan to work hard to promote vocational training in the private sector as well as our public schools. I will be a strong proponent for Safety Resource Officers in our public schools.
- I will be a strong advocate for small business. I first want to help create a safe environment in our community that will invited more growth. I will look at debilitating regulations that stifle current and new businesses. I will work hard to provide the infrastructure needed to promote new businesses in our area.
