Dan Seum Jr. (Republican Party) is a member of the Louisville City Council in Kentucky, representing District 13. He assumed office on January 2, 2023. His current term ends on January 4, 2027.
Seum is running for re-election to the Louisville City Council to represent District 13 in Kentucky. The primary for this office on May 19, 2026, was canceled.
Biography
Dan Seum Jr. was born in Columbus, Ohio. He earned an associate degree from Lindsey Wilson College in 1995. His career experience includes working as a business owner. Seum has been affiliated with Kentuckians for Medicinal Marijuana.[1]

- My first goal when elected is to prop up our law enforcement officers and first responders. I will be a strong advocate for better funding and better training for our police.
- I plan to work hard to promote vocational training in the private sector as well as our public schools. I will be a strong proponent for Safety Resource Officers in our public schools.
- I will be a strong advocate for small business. I first want to help create a safe environment in our community that will invited more growth. I will look at debilitating regulations that stifle current and new businesses. I will work hard to provide the infrastructure needed to promote new businesses in our area.
