Dan Vakulskas is a magistrate judge of the Third District of Iowa. He was appointed by the Woodbury County Magistrate Nominating Commission in July 2017, to fill the vacancy created by the elevation of Stephanie Forker Parry to district associate judge.[1]

Vakulskas earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa and a J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School at Western Michigan University. At the time of his appointment as a magistrate judge, he was an attorney with the Vakulskas Law Firm.[1]
