Dan Weber
Dan Weber (b. August 8, 1956) is a former Republican member of the Georgia State Senate, representing District 40 from 2005 to 2011. Weber did not seek re-election in 2010.
Biography
Weber earned his B.S. in Engineering from the University of Toledo in 1979 and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. His professional experience includes working as a Commercial Litigation Associate for Powell, Goldstein, Frazer and Murphy, Attorney for Smith and Fleming from 1988 to 1996, private practice attorney, Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and for Peachtree Charter Middle School.

Elections
2008
On November 4, 2008, Weber won re-election to the Georgia Senate from Georgia's 40th Senate district. Weber received 36,386 votes in the election, defeating Martin McConaughy (D), who received 24,881 votes.[1] Weber raised $71,175 for his campaign in 2008; McConaughy raised $7,333.[2]
