Campaign themes

2014

Wolk's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[11]

  • Excerpt: "We need to ensure our schools have adequate funding to meet students’ individual needs and all students have the opportunity for a quality public education. We must allocate resources to train today and tomorrow’s workers, so they are prepared for the 21st-Century economy – giving them the skills for good, high-paying jobs that will grow our state’s economy."
  • Excerpt: "In the Assembly, I will work every day on these issues that most affect our communities and our lives. Only if we commit together to focus on the issues that really matter can we succeed in making the changes necessary to fix California. Then – and only then – can we restore the California Dream."
